This is a collection of splash pages created by talented designers from around the world exclusively for The Firm List. These are both a showcase of the talents of the designers as well as a display of some of the great people who use this site. And we'd like you to help! Yes, you can create a splash page to be added to the Gallery. Each splash page will be added to the Gallery and will randomly appear when people visit The Firm List Splash Page Gallery. This could be a great opportunity for you to have fun and generate some interest in your work as well.   The Guidelines To submit a splash page to be featured in our Gallery, all you need to do is download the starter package of images, follow the simple rules below and submit your information using the form below. If you follow these guidelines, your design will most likely be added to the Gallery, but in some cases The Firm List will have to exercise editorial discretion and not add your design. We will let you know why this happened and allow you to resubmit your design should you choose to. The Rules The page must be containted in one page and not require multiple pages in order to get to the main site. The Firm List logo must figure prominently in the design. The splash pages must promote the site first and foremost, but can (and should) promote your own firm/work as well. The page should easily link to the main page of this site (http://www.firmlist.com/). Please name your splash page, something unique. Make sure that all files use this name (for example: green.html, green.gif, and green.swf). If you use a flash movie, you must set the page to display a static image for those who do not have the appropriate plugin. All links must be absolute links (meaning: http://splash.firmlist.com/index.shtml for example). Images will be stored in http://images.firmlist.com/splash/images/ and flash files will be stored in http://images.firmlist.com/splash/swf/ Rule of thumb is that the splash page & all components should not exceed 60k. (exceptions may be made in rare situations) The Starter Images .sit 30k MAC | PC .zip 31k   Submission Form Use the form below once you have finished your design and wish to submit it to our consideration. If you include a URL, please make sure the design only includes elements such as .html files and .gifs/.jpgs which can be downloaded through the browser. If you are using any other types of files (such as flash animations) please send these via email. If you send the design via email, please either send all the files together in one compressed file (either .zip or .sit).   Some Fine Print By submitting a splash page to The Firm List you are giving us the unlimited use of this design for use as a splash page and inclusion in the Splash Page Gallery. The Firm List logo, this site and any other elements of our design that you use will remain under our copyright and your design shall remain under your copyright. We will make a formal request to you should we like to use your design for any other use. Our using the design in no way gives an endoresement to your firm or expresses any affiliation between the Firm List and yourself or your firm. This agreement will be of mutual consent. Should you wish to remove your splash page from use on this site, you may send an email to matte@firmlist.com asking for it to be removed.
